The King of Cats, 1935, Balthus

Felix the feline

Lived in a house

With the King of Cats

And a small field mouse

The cat king, Jack

Did not like the mouse

Thus the reason why

Eight cats lived in the house.

There was Flotsum and Gipsum

Milly and Moe

Dusty and Daisy

And Milo and Joe

There were that many cats

The mouse ran away

And has never returned

To the house till this day!

Indelible Art - Mag #213

Ritual knife carves through flesh

Ink is seeping in

Sacred tooth... mallet tapped

Piercing the skin

Stamp of beauty

Spiritual tag

The body marked for life

A message for ones oppressor

To ward off evil

And stave off strife

A persons ink is personal thing

Forever etched in skin

Kaleidoscope art

Indelible ink
