"LIFE"

I lay back on luscious blades of green
Stare into the blue
and
drift away

...I let go...

The clouds lend me their rain drops
&
Tears roll down my cheeks

I remember

&

I am grateful

Life flows through us for only a short time

It's unpredictable

It's messy

and

It's wonderful

!~LOVE ALWAYS~!

In Between - The Mag # 208

Poet's Sleep, 1989, by Chang Houg Ahn

"Millions of spiritual creatures walk the earth unseen, both when we sleep
and when we are awake" (John Milton)

 The souls of hundreds
Lurk in the night
A chill's in the air
Marking mid winters bite

Is it.....

Reality or Illusion
Argh this matrix of sleep
My senses are marred
I'm confused, incomplete

Not here nor there
It's not lucidly clear
 I'm caught in between
 This limbic system of fear!

Goodbye Beautiful Boy!

Today was a very difficult day for me and my family. We had to say goodbye to our beautiful boy, Kirra. He has been sick for quite a few years and up until the last few weeks was still enjoying a good quality of life. He was very much a part of our family and we are going to miss his cuddles, the games he'd play & seeing his beautiful blue eyed face around the house.
We love you Kirra and we will never, ever forget the love that you gave us. We will never forget you, ever!!
I just wanted to share some photos of our precious boy here with everyone, he was such a handsome boy!

Goodbye beautiful boy & thank you for the love xxx

Don't Wait To Say I Love You - The Mag # 207

"Don't wait to say I love you because tomorrow might be too late"

It had only been a month
Since she had passed away
The pain that he was feeling
Stayed with him everyday

He had loved her from the moment
That she let the place below
But he'd never shared his amour
And now she'd never know

They had become best buddies
They'd spent lots of time alone
But fear became the roadblock
That kept his love unknown

She was funny and creative
Her heart it shone like gold
She had a bubbly nature
She was a beauty to behold

They shared many interests
They both liked riding bikes
They both liked eating Italian
And going for weekend hikes

She could talk to him about anything
And he could do that too
He'd just wished he'd had the courage to say
The three words, "I Love You"

Pucker Up! The Mag # 206

Get over here Big Boy
Don't forget your hat
Bring those lips on over here
And give me some of that

Pucker up just one more time
Before you go for work
Leave some love to get me through
Or I might go berserk

Mwaa!

Dignity!

Broken and floored
Never loved or adored

Troubled and pained
Damaged and stained

Self image ripped
Innocence stripped

Emotions mixed
Now to be fixed

Thoughts in a mess
A life in distress

HOW CAN WE HELP!

Listen and learn
Show care and concern

 Carefully guide
Work side by side

Encourage and praise
Brighten their days

Empower and teach
Never order or preach

Respect and be kind
Have presence of mind!

from which all other fundamental rights derive from."

No Limitations! Mag # 205

The first thing that came to mind when I saw this picture prompt was a video I had watched on the internet a while ago of a young man who was born without arms who could play the piano with his toes. Many people would think that having no hands, no fingers would be a huge barrier to someone learning to play the piano but this was not the case with this young man. Just watch and you will be moved and amazed.....
    No Limitations

Don't let the words of doubters
Infiltrate your mind
If there's a dream you want to realize
Just keep trying till you find
When you find your passion
Keep shooting for the moon
With a fire in your belly
You will reach your dream real soon
