Point Danger

A few short weeks ago my husband and I took off on a weekend retreat together, just the two of us. We started the weekend with a lovely dinner at Twin Towns followed by fantastic rhythm n beat of the Oz Latin Brothers. It was a beautiful, soul reviving evening.
The following morning we were spoiled with a yummy buffet breakfast and a drive up the the Captain Cook Memorial Lighthouse at Point Danger.

The weather was absolutely awesome, beautiful blue skies and calm seas. Fortunately Eddie & I have become accustomed to traveling with cameras & binoculars and we were able to see whales out in the distance, I only wish I had a lens for the camera that could zoom in that far away. It was breathtaking watching them breech out of the water.

The lighthouse is a memorial to Captain Cooks Travels, it was a very interesting place to visit and one that I will definitely be taking my children back too.
