Brother!

Poor health has forced me to rest. So I sit in my lounge propped up on giant soft pillows resting my tired body , gazing out the window at the billowy white clouds and sorting through a myriad of thoughts that have made permanent residence in my head. I know I should not allow this to happen, it always leaves me feeling exhausted and deflated because the answers to the questions I seek don't have clear cut answers. There really are no answers, only time will tell!
I know I will get better and I am so grateful to have this knowledge, I only wish that things were the same for my brother.
I am embarrassed to admit it but I am a bit of sooky la-la when I'm sick. I get frustrated that I can't do all the things that are usual and normal for me and knowing this about myself is confronting especially when I see how my beautiful brother battles through each and every day with his chronic health condition.

There is so much I can learn from him.
His patience
His resilient ways
His ability to still laugh when things are grim
His infectious, cheeky teasing ways
His ability to just go with the flow & put his faith in others
and
His ability to do it all so very gracefully!

It pains me to see him struggle, I love him so much and I pray everyday that things will get better for him.... soon!!!

  8. I am doing fine now thanks JJ, I'm feeling way better and my brother is doing a bit better than he was a month ago also. Because of his poor kidney function, the medication he was taking for his epilepsy was poisoning his system & he was having all sorts of horrid neurological symptoms, it was just awful. He is on one other anti seizure medication and it seems to be doing the job, thank goodness. Thank you so much for stopping by to show your concern, it is much appreciated.

    1. Thanks Brian .. I am doing much better now thank you! I have been busy with work, study & assignments and have decided to do some more study... a glutton for punishment, I guess. I am going to study Mental Health which is something I have thought about doing for some time now.
