Spellbound!

By Katherine Fredes

The above picture I drew myself. It was my first attempt at sketching for many years. I thoroughly enjoyed myself doing it though. It was so relaxing, so therapeutic!

Spellbound

Can you recall the first time
Your first brush with desire
The teasing burn beneath your skin
That made you feel on fire

The ravenous beast that dwelled within
Of wanting, wistful lust
Impatiently longing for the time
When the smoldering could combust

Along then comes that moment
When the longing days are done
The pining turns to pleasure
When two become just one

A sensual explosion
Of bodies falling in
Exploring & delighting
In the pleasures of the skin

Delightfully held spellbound
That such pleasure can exist
That once your done you can't wait
Till your next love making tryst!

  2. Hello Katherine,

Been a while since I visited, but I could feel the heat from the other side of the world !

I think until our dying day (unless we fall victim to Alzheimers) we will remember that moment !

Hope you've been doing well. Enjoy your weekend.

  5. Katherine: I just moved my computer into the cold shower!

I love the sketch. We actually have a similar one hanging in our living room.

    1. Hee!hee!hee! Thank you for your comment on my sketch... I had fun doing it and I think a past love was awoken whilst doing some art work with a client who's never without a pencil in her hand.
