Wanderlust!

I've had a yearning to do something for a long while now and the longer I move through life, the more I learn. With this learning grows a yearning. A yearning to see, experience and learn more about this beautiful world. This yearning has grown in intensity in recent months, so it would seem I have a serious case of 'Wanderlust.'

I long to see, taste, breathe, feel, hear and walk on foreign shores. I want my senses to absorb the atmosphere and soak up the scenery that lay before me. I want to watch the people & take in their culture.

I want to walk the ghostly paths of The Ancients and let my thoughts wander in amazement about how things once were. I want to move in the spaces that the great poets, artists, Lords & Kings once lived and breathed and ponder what their lives would have been like. I can only imagine the awe of being in such places.

My eyes will devour the diverse beauty of the land and sea. They will feast on all the wonders, both natural and man made, that these places have to offer.
I will of course sight see and visit all the "Must-See Places"; that's a given.  Anyone who knows me, knows that I appreciate the simple things in life & I love surprises. So, I will also delight in all the hidden curiosities and be enchanted by what I see in all the little nooks and crannies & by going down the paths less traveled.
So today I begin to plan ... plan my trip of a lifetime! I can't wait!
