Time
Mr Time please slow down
Just a little bit
Time's passing much too fast
I have no time to sit
It seems like yesterday was Christmas
Now Easters almost here
The days & nights go by so quick
I need a lower gear
Time just seems to be running right through my fingers!
The hourglass keeps running
ReplyDeletethe seasons are not slow
Easter, Christmas, New Years
fly by before we know
Time waits for no man
this we know is true
if only there was more
I'd spend it all with you
Aww... so sweet! Thanks Matty for you sweet comment. Have a wonderful weekend. Cheers Kath :)

ReplyDeleteTime waits for No One!
And it Marches On!
Loved your Timely 55 My Friend.
It's so nice to have you back writing for the Friday Funfest.
Thanks for playing, and have a Kick Ass Week-End
When my elders told me this would happen to me too, I didn't believe them. Foolish me.

You nailed this one Katherine.
ReplyDeleteHey how cool, Matty wrote you a poem!
ReplyDeleteYes, I agree. Time just slips through our fingers. I can't believe my oldest is starting Kindergarten this fall! Seems like he was just a baby! Oh well, I guess that mean we just need to treasure each moment.
I know! Life is SO busy! **shrug**

Hey Miriam .. :)
Hi Alice .. I know what your saying... When we are young we think we've got all the time in the world.
ReplyDeletetime waits 4 no 1 only when ur young does time seem like forever, but that's only cause you r under the restriction of your parents :)
ReplyDeleteThat adage is so true - the hours may go by slowly, but the years fly by ! Lovely, and timely, words Katherine !
