Long forgotten memories have invaded my thoughts
Their mere presence leaves a sour taste in my mouth
A bitterness so real that my stomach turns in reaction
Is it the pleasure or the pain of that moment that effects me this way?
Tears of joy fall in partnership with tears laced of sadness
Droplets of liquid salt fall from my cheeks in the wake of these memories returned
Ahh ... Bitter sweet memories!
