Taking the Challenge .... It's all about me!

My husband took this photo at Mermaid Beach on Queenslands Gold Coast a few weekends back. We were on our way home & it started to sprinkle, forming this gorgeous double rainbow over the ocean. He just had to stop and take a picture.

A blogger friend on mine @ KB's Room has put forth a challenge. That challenge is to participate in a 30 day challenge. I learned about the challenge at day 18 of the challenge but have decided that I will still participate and just make mine an 12 day challenge.
The aim of the challenge is to reveal a little about myself through responding to various questions.

Day 18: What plans, dreams or goals do I have?

My main goal in life is to live an honest, happy & fulfilling existence. I do have other mini goals set to aid me in achieving my main goal and some of these are:

Successfully complete my Diploma in Disabilities & Community Services

Travel overseas and personally experience life on foreign shores

Re-marry my husband and go on a real honeymoon ... could possible tie this one in with goal number 2.

Spend more time doing the things that make me truly happy

Make more time for family & friends... socialising ~!!

Lose weight & become more healthy

With regards to my dreams ... it would be wonderful to win the lotto or find a pot of gold at the end of the rainbow but that really is dreaming isn't it?

A personal dream I have is to overcome my fear of public speaking because it has prevented me from taking on new challenges with regards to work.

Another dream I have is to live on acerage in the hinterland (be closer to nature)

Is a dream I have for my children & that is to see them settled & happy in life.

I guess my plans are to achieve my goals, take up opportunities when they come along, overcome my glossiphobia, never stop learning, continue to set goals & always make time for play!!

  4. Hey Brian, my husband and I married very young and we are nearing our 25th Wedding Anniversary and I think renewing our wedding vows & a honeymoon overseas would be a wonderful way to celebrate.

Hi Michelle.. sites like blogger & other social websites seem to always be haunted by gremlins that seem to throw a spanner in the works. Thanks for your lovely comment.

  7. Excellent photo!
I know how you feel Katherine. My anxiety has limited my choices in life too. Which is very frustrating.
    Best of luck.
