Clouds
I just had to share these photos with you all. I took them outside the car window on the way home yesterday from Numinbah Valley. I just love clouds & yesterday afternoon the clouds were nothing short of magical.
Thanks PattiKen & lissa. They were quite mesmerizing .. I think my husband thought I was a nutter... because I kept winding the window down every couple of minutes to take more photos of the clouds.
Rick... I would love to say that I planned for the shots to look this way, with the sun peeking through & all that but it was just luck & the automatic function on the camera. I took many but these 2 were the best of the lot.
LadyCat...I thought the same thing when I saw the clouds! Speaking in meteorological terms, I have not idea what kind of clouds they are...cumulonimbus sounds good to me.

ReplyDeleteOh wow! These are great. I love how the sun is just peeking through the trees on that first one and the sunlight is streaming straight up.
ReplyDeleteAnd lovely pattern on that 2nd one - great contrast against that blue.
Ha ha - 'a nutter' (I think my wife thinks worse of me when I do that 'cept I have to pull over since I'm the one usually driving)!
Great clouds! They look like fluffy sheep. I don't know the meterogist term...maybe cumulous?
