I really don't like these early morning departures. They are becoming more & more a common occurrence. It occurred to me that we have not sat to share a breakfast in weeks. Oh, I really do miss that!

A night of music
Divine food
Love
and Romance
It is the morning that you awake in the arms of the one you love.
It is the pillow talk
The cuddles
The kisses
The anticipation of the day to come
Being together
The perfect start!
It is the breakfast shared
Togetherness
The aromatic smell of freshly brewed coffee
The smell of toast as it wafts through the air
Golden butter melting in submission from the warmth of the crust
An awakening of senses
Breakfast
I love it!
I wish every day could start this way!
But for me today it's WeetBix, eaten alone!

You hit the nail on the head; so much of breakfast has to do with the aroma. If you open your eyes in the morning and you smell coffee, toast or bacon, you know life is good. I don't even really like to eat bacon, but I do love the aroma of bacon cooking.
