Mag 6 - The Toolbox

The Toolbox

The boy loved to watch his father
As he built furniture in his shed
He liked to help cut the timber
He did all his father said

His father would say Son watch & learn
If one day you'd like to build
Soak up all I teach you
So you can improve upon your skill

The little boy would watch his dad
And create things in his mind
He'd been collecting bit's and pieces of wood
And anything else that he could find

The day came when his father said
Son I've seen you watch & learn
You have been a very good student
Now I'll let you have your turn

The father gave the boy a present
A tool box filled with tools
A box of nails, a hammer and saw
And a list of the 'Shed Rules'

The little boy he took the box
Excitement filled his face
He looked up at his father and said
"Hey Dad.. you know.. you're Ace!"
